Welcome to Oklahoma Hunting Today! This site is a resource for Oklahoma hunters. We believe in hunting as a heritage that needs to be preserved, promoted and protected for future generations.

Oklahoma Hunting Today is part of a larger network of hunting websites belonging to U.S. Hunting Today. As with all our sites, we'll give you stories from our staff of professional outdoor writers, product reviews, forums to talk with other hunters, hunting news, tips and so much more.

We think a better informed hunter is one that will better preserve our heritage.

Real Stories From Real People

"Real Stories From Real People" is really our trademark. We learned a long time ago that hunters were very interested in reading accounts from their fellow hunters. We all know that professional writers and their stories all have their places. We all read them, enjoy them and often we learn a lot of new things.

We want your story! Every hunter has a story to tell. Not every hunter is a professional writer nor are they sometimes very proficient but we can help. On our guidelines page, we've given you the necessary information to get your story to us and tips on how to write the story if you are having difficulty.

Put your thoughts together, along with a picture if you have one, and send them to us. We'll review it and decide whether it belongs on our website. Determining that is quite simple. It has to be about hunting and family type reading material. If it contains foul language that is too much, we'll just delete it.

Once we determine that it belongs here, we'll edit it without changing the structure, and publish it giving you the credit and putting your name in the lights, so to speak. You can then tell the world you are a published author.

Make this a fun time. We have some hunters who are aspiring to be outdoor writers and others who just like to share. If you're concerned about protecting the innocent, that sort of thing, go ahead and change the names and make changes so you don't incriminate someone.

If you send photos that have other people besides yourself, make sure you ask them if you can have the picture published.

That's about it! We love your stories and so do the rest of our readers, so get it together and get those stories to us.

Thanks,

Tom
